St Patricks DayThe celebration of St. Patrick’s Day will be back in town again on 17th March 2015 in Belfast. This event is one of the most awaited and most popular events in the life of the city and each year St. Patrick’s Day hosts the best programs and concerts for all the visitors.

Be part of the colourful St. Patrick’s Day Carnival which starts at the Belfast City Hall at noon then it is followed by a huge outdoor concert series which will be held from 1pm to 3pm. At the St. Patrick’s Day celebration free concerts are waiting for the visitors including Louis Walsh’s newest Irish boyband called HomeTown alongside with an Irish dance group, 2014 Britain’s Got Talent finalist Innova and various other dance and sing performances such as the local girl band called Saffyre, traditional music from Beyond the Pale and so on. Lets celebrate the St. Patrick’s Day with a colourful and vibrant carnival which is followed by various concerts. The entrance for the carnival and the concerts are free for everyone. This year the St. Patrick’s Day Carnival and Concerts will be held on 17th March 2015 starting at noon at Belfast City Hall.

Simply Red concert in Belfast 2015

Simply RedSimply Red will be on a world tour from October in 2015 and on this occasion the band will perform in Belfast too. Simply Red is an English soul and pop band which was formed in 1985.

Last year in November the band announced that they would reform again for the 30th anniversary of the band and they start their world tour in the autumn of 2015. The 2015 reunion line up of the band consists Mick Hucknall, Ian Kirkham, Steve Lewinson, Kenji Suzuki, Kevin Robinson, Dave Clayton and Roman Roth. The Simply Red will be on a world tour from October 2015 with the Big Love Tour 2015. On this occasion the band will give in total 40 shows in all over Europe. The band will give plenty of concerts in Germany in cities like Munich, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Berlin and Dortmund and in the UK in cities like London, Belfast, Brighton, Leeds and so on.

In Belfast Simply Red will only give one concert on Wednesday 2nd December in 2015. The concert will take place at the Odyssey Arena. Tickets for the concert are already available.

One Direction concert in Belfast 2015

One Direction BelfastOne Direction is on a world tour in 2015 and in this occasion the band will visit Belfast as well. Belfast is not the only UK city where the band will give concerts but One Direction will also give concerts in London, Dublin, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and so on.

One Direction is a British pop boy band which includes Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson. The band started its career after finishing third in the seventh series of the singing competition The X Factor in 2010. One Direction released four albums so far, the band’s first one was Up All Night in 2011, the second album was Take Me Home in 2012, the third album was Midnight Memories which was released in 2013 and the last album came out last year, in 2014 called Four. The band’s top singles were What Makes You Beautiful, Live While We’re Young, Story of My Life and Steal My Girl. During the years the band received several awards and became one of the most popular boy bands.

This year One Direction will be on a world tour and the band will give plenty of concerts all around the world. The On the Road Again Tour is the fourth concert tour of the band and it promotes the latest album, Four of One Direction. The tour starts in the middle of February and ends in the end of October in 2015. The band will give in total 80 concerts all over the world including Belfast as well where the band will be on stage two nights.

The first concert in Belfast will be held on Wednesday 21st October in 2015 and the second will be on the following day on Thursday 22nd October in 2015. Both of the concerts will take place at the Odyssey Arena.

Out to Lunch Festival in Belfast 2015

Out to Lunch festivalThe Out to Lunch Festival is back to town again in the beginning of January in 2015. The Out to Lunch Festival is one of the largest art events in the life of Belfast.

This year the festival is held from 2nd January to 25th January in 2015. The main goal of the festival is to bring closer the different and various forms of art to the people. During the three weeks long art festival visitors can enjoy countless theatre, music, dance, literature and comedy performances in their lunch time all this served up with a delicious hot lunch only for £6.50. It is a perfect opportunity for everyone to experience the joy of art alongside with the tastiest lunches and evening performances.

This is the 10th anniversary of the Out to Lunch Festival in Belfast and on this occasion special shows and performances are waiting for the visitors. The highlights of the festival are the comedy from Robin Ince, Tom Stade, John Shuttleworth and Tony Law, the reformed punk legends such as Nine below Zero and several other performances.

The 10th annual Out to Lunch Festival takes place from 2nd January to 25th January in 2015 at the various venues in the city.
