The legendary British rock band, the Who will give hilarious concerts in different cities in Europe, including the fantastic capital of Northern Ireland, in Belfast. The Who is a British rock band, what was founded by Pete Townshend guitarist, Roger Daltrey singer, John Entwistle bass guitarist and Keith Moon drummer in 1964. The band is known as one of the starters of the hard rock genre. Their concerts were famous and notorious in the same time, and I am sure, that time didn’t break this image and the legends can make hilarious parties nowadays too. However unfortunately two members, Keith Moon drummer and John Entwistle bass guitarist are already died, but it worth to see how the remaining members with the new ones will brush up the good old times and they will strike the strings and the drums to charm the old and new fans too.

Kings of Leon concert in Belfast

The Kings of Leon is a popular American rock band from Tennessee. The members are three brothers and a cousin of them, by names Nathan Followill who drums and vocals, Caleb Followill, who sings and rhyme guitars, Jared Followill, who bass guitars and Matthew Followill who solo guitars.

The bands members had religious upbringing, and it is perceptible in their music. This is a little bit strange for a rock band, but it has worked and they became very successful. The music what they play is the so-called indie rock category. The Kings of Leon released several albums since their formation in 1999. The band will start a worldwide tour in this summer, so the fans could hear their favorites in live. The concert tour’s one station will be the European city, the capital of Northern Ireland, Belfast.

Belfast is a beautiful city, where you couldn’t find lauds of famous historical attractions like in another European big city, but the fantastic view and programs still welcome the visitors. Here you can find the famous Titanic Museum and the Giant’s Causeway, which is a perfect hiking place.

Late night art tours in Belfast

The capital of North-Ireland, the wonderful Belfast offers several program opportunities to tourists, it could be day or night. There are several museums and galleries in the city which wait for the visitors with lauds of great exhibitions. If you like culture, you would like the next program description, especially if you like night fun too.

There are several museums and gallery in Belfast which invite people to an exciting cultural program on the first Thursday of every month. You can choose the program in walking or bus version too. The program starts on 6.30 PM until 9 PM, so you won’t be tired next day. The walking late night art tours’ meeting point is at the Exposed Gallery at 6.30 PM, and the end is at The Black Box at 8.30 PM. The bus tour starts at The Naughton Gallery at Queens University at 6.30 PM and ends at the Black Box around 9 PM. The bus tour isn’t free, but it’s a more convenient way of the tour, because you have an ordered bus what drive you from A to B. For the bus trip you can buy tickets in person in the Belfast Welcome Centre. The tours’ extra service in addition to the exciting night time is, visitors can hear different artists’ speeches.

Andy Warhol exhibition in Belfast

Andy Warhol, the king of the pop-art culture is a worldwide known figure. His famous works appear on bags and t-shirts nowadays too, so those people know these pictures too, who aren’t interested in this weird, blond gentleman’s art.

Andy Warhol was born in 1928. He was one of the most popular pop-artist. He started as an advert drawer, and after that he became famous because of his paintings and avant-garde films. However there were several gossips around his sexuality, but he was openly homosexual. His most famous works for example the paintings about the Campbell soup cans and Marilyn Monroe’s portraits. He was a weird man, a real artist, whose pictures spellbind everybody nowadays too.

In Belfast, in the popular MAC, or Metropolitan Art Centre there is a fantastic exhibition from Andy Warhol’s works between 8 February 2013 and 28 April 2013. On the exhibitions people can see Warhol’s most popular films and pictures.

Do not miss this probably unforgettable exhibition of one of the most famous pop-artists’ works. Be a witness of the underground culture, and let the psychedelic world and life philosophy of the 60s to whirl you for one night.
